ABOUT DAVIDE LAFFE

Davide Laffe was born in Santa Monica, California. His love for the arts started when he was in High School. He used to dance & choreograph and sometimes the teacher would let him teach the class. Wishing to expand his artistic expression he fell into Photography. He started photographing Call Girls for their advertisements using a point and shoot camera. He also took his love for music and decided to work with independent musicians to develop photoshoots for their albums. In 2009 Davide started to take advantage of his free time and started photographing nightlife events. With wanting to take a bite of the Big Apple Davide grabbed his camera and lighting equipment and moved to New York City In 2010. When Davide moved to New York  he worked and photographed different clubs, parties, establishments and red carpets. In 2011 & 2012 & 2014 Davide Laffe was nominated for best night life photographer for New York City. Not winning did not defeat him. In 2012 & 2015 Davide Laffe was featured in GMHC'S Annual Arts & Aids Gallery Showcasing art from Men living with HIV. proving you do not have to be HIV positive to show that you can be affected by it. Davide moved back to Los Angeles in 2017 to be closer to family but hopes to travel the world and to leave a heavy footprint in the sand with his work.
